For the one who said Orton might not come back. Orton is one of the longest contractually locked talents in WWE as his current deal doesn’t expire until 2019.

- While WWE’s website is still saying Randy Orton will be sidelined for just a few weeks, Wade Barrett continued to cut promos at this week’s SmackDown live events saying Randy Orton would be out for 6 months.

- There’s an inside joke going around this week that Randy Orton will win the 2012 Royal Rumble but Vince McMahon will change that plan once he’s reminded the Rumble is in Orton’s hometown of St. Louis.

NEW YORK – October 14, 2011 – Following the record setting performance of Syfy’s first ever SuperSmackDown Live special on August 30th, Syfy and WWE announced today the next WWE SuperSmackDown Live special will air Tuesday, November 29 at 8PM/ET.

The Tuesday night special will feature WWE’s biggest Superstars and Divas, including Randy Orton®, Sheamus™, World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry®, Big Show®, Christian®, Sin Cara™, Cody Rhodes™, Wade Barrett™, Daniel Bryan™, Natalya™ and Alicia Fox™.

The special will re-air in Smackdown’s regular time slot on Friday, December 2 from 8-10PM (ET/PT). The inaugural telecast of SuperSmackDown Live on Tuesday, August 30th pinned 3.3 million total viewers and was the most watched Smackdown ever on Syfy among Adults 18-49.

The RAW walkout storyline will continue on tonight’s Supershow from the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There is a “solidarity rally” planned with the disgruntled Superstars that will take place in the parking lot of the arena for tonight’s show. Several Superstars have tweeted this weekend that they are bringing signs for the picket line tonight.

The updated preview from the Chesapeake Energy Arena reads like this:

“Triple H vows to absolutely not step down from running Monday Night RAW. Furthermore, Triple H vows that John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Sheamus and the Big Show will headline Monday night’s event. However, 55 of the WWE Superstars who walked out last week have vowed not to return until Triple H is removed from power.”

In light of news that WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H has vowed to not step down from running the RAW Supershow, Christian has spearheaded an effort by various Superstars, Divas, referees, announcers and crew members to travel to Oklahoma City on Monday and stage a “Solidarity Rally” in the backstage parking lot of the Chesapeake Energy Arena prior to the show. The contingent, which consists of those who walked out on Triple H this past Monday night, tell WWE.com that they will not return to the RAW Supershow or step into the venue to perform until Triple H relinquishes control.

Triple H stated earlier in a video interview that John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Sheamus and Big Show will headline Monday night’s telecast.

“Beyond that, I might not have referees, I might not have announcers, I might not have cameramans. Quite frankly, I don’t know what’s going to happen,” he said. “We’ll see what we come up with on Monday. Hell, they might all show up and I won’t let anyone back in.”
